We will only be able to facilitate collections in the available windows. If you need to change your collection time after making your selection, please email events@thecommongood.org.au and we will do our best to move your collection to another window.

Should I bring an esky or ice when I collect my ice cream?
It’s not essential but we would recommend it. The product is frozen and should travel well for up to 30 minutes. We’d recommend a cooler bag or esky to transport your ice cream from your pick up location to the freezer.

Can someone else collect my ice cream on my behalf?
Yes, you can nominate someone else to pick-up your order as long as they have a copy of the receipt to show our friendly staff.

What should I bring with me when collecting my ice cream?
Please bring your receipt with you at the time of collection (on your phone is fine!). You may wish to bring a cooler bag or esky to place the tub into during transportation. We would recommend you transfer the tub of ice cream to your freezer as soon as possible (ideally within 30 minutes).

Can I volunteer my time to help?
Yes, we are always looking for volunteers to assist The Common Good with a number of projects. You can find more information and submit your application at https://www.thecommongood.org.au/volunteering/

Do I have to get out of my car to collect my ice cream? Will there be on site parking?
We are not operating a drive through collection, so you will need to park your car and head into the selected location with your receipt (printed or digital is fine!) to collect your delicious tub of ice cream. Street parking is available at both the Morningside and Seventeen Mile Rocks locations. For the Paddington location pick up, we recommend parking in the Paddington Central Shopping Centre car park.

Why are you only selling 5-litre tubs?
Remember that time the Ekka was cancelled - again? Well, we’ve partnered with our good friends Lick! Ice Cream to turn lemons into lemonade! These limited edition 5-litre tubs were produced especially for the Ekka, and now for the first time ever, you can purchase one too! Best of all, for every tub of ice cream sold, you will be able to dedicate one hour of medical research to either heart, lung, dementia or mental health research in support of The Common Good, an initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation. Be quick though as there are less than 500 tubs available!

Why are you selling these tubs?
Firstly, who doesn’t love ice cream at Christmas time? More importantly, we are selling these tubs to enable more medical research to take place. For the second consecutive year, the Ekka - our major annual fundraising initiative - was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Ekka is one of our most significant fundraising opportunities of the year, and in 2019 you helped us fund more than 4,500 hours of life changing medical research! Selling these last remaining tubs will help us direct further hours into medical research to help get our researchers even closer to making significant medical breakthroughs. You get delicious ice cream, The Common Good receives medical research - it’s a win-win for everyone!

I purchased a tub but I don’t want it any more. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds on this product due to a change of mind or if you can no longer make any of the 18 available collection windows. If there is a problem with your ice cream however, please contact events@thecommongood.org.au within 48 hours of collection and we will do our best to assist you.

Is my purchase tax-deductible?
No, this is not a tax-deductible donation as you are purchasing a product. However, a tax receipt will be provided at the time of purchase.
